SUJŪD (prostration)
In every rakʿah of the obligatory and recommended prayers, one must perform two sajdahs after rukūʿ and Standing.
A sajdah is performed when one places his forehead on the ground in a particular manner with the intention of humility [before Allah].
While performing a sajdah in prayers, it is obligatory that the palms of both hands, both knees, and both big toes be placed on the ground.

The first Prostration
When these seven parts of the body are placed on the ground,
we recite the dhikr:

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

subḥāna rabbiyal aʿlā wa biḥamdih

My most high Lord is free from imperfections, and I praise Him.

Or instead of, we can say three times
سبحان الله      3 times
Subḥānal lāh    3 times
Allah is free from imperfections

Sit up
Then, we raise the head off the ground, sit still , and recite:

اللّهُ أَکْبَرُ
‘allāhu akbar’
Allah is greater [ than what He is described as]

استغفر الله ربی و اتوب الیه
As Tagh Fir ul Laha Rabbi Wa Atoobu Ilaih
I ask Allah, my Lord, to cover up my sins and unto him turn repentant

اللّهُ أَکْبَرُ
‘allāhu akbar’
Allah is greater [ than what He is described as]

Then, we perform the second Prostration and recite the dhikr:

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

subḥāna rabbiyal aʿlā wa biḥamdih

My most high Lord is free from imperfections, and I praise Him.

Or instead of, we can say three times
سبحان الله      3 times
Subḥānal lāh    3 times
Allah is free from imperfections.

Then, we raise the head off The ground, sit still, and recite:

اللّهُ أَکْبَرُ
‘allāhu akbar’
Allah is greater [ than what He is described as]

Stand up
Then, we stand up, and while standing up, recite the dhikr:

بِحَوْلِ اللهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ أَقُوْمُ وَأَقْعُدُ

biḥawlil lāhi wa quwwatihi aqūmu wa aqʿud

I stand and sit by the strength of Allah and by His power.
