Rukūʿ
After qunūt, we perform an act of rukūʿ, which is to bow to an extent that we are able to place the palms on the knees.
In rukūʿ, we recite the dhikr:
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيْمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
subḥāna rabbiyal ʿaẓīmi wa biḥamdih
My great Lord is free from imperfections, and I praise Him.
Or instead of, we can say three times:
سبحان الله 3 times
Subḥānal lāh 3 times
Allah is free from imperfections
After rukūʿ
After rukūʿ, we stand up, become still, and recite:
سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ
samiʿal lāhu liman ḥamidah ‘allāhu akbar’
God listens to one who praises Him Allah is greater [ than what He is described as]
And now perform prostration.
