QUNŪT
In all the obligatory and recommended prayers, it is recommended to perform qunūt before the rukūʿ of the second rakʿah.
It is recommended that in qunūt one places his hands in front of his face with his palms facing the sky and with both hands kept next to each other.
In qunut, a person can recite salawat or any Supplication.
Qunut dhkr:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَةً وَفِی الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fiy dunya hasanat–an wa fi l–akhirayt–i hasanat–an wa qina 'adhab–a l–naar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Herefter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire [Hell].
After perform qunūt, we should say ‘allāhu akbar’
اللّهُ أَکْبَرُ
‘allāhu akbar’
Allah is greater [ than what He is described as]
and then perform rukūʿ.
